About LightWorks Reiki & Yoga
LightWorks Reiki & Yoga is owned and operated by Luci Carpenter. Luci first opened
LightWorks Reiki in 2007, offering Reiki services from her home. In late 2009, she
expanded services to include Reiki Classes and Training. Then, in May of 2010, Luci
further expanded the scope of services to include Yoga Classes, thus creating
LightWorks Reiki & Yoga at its current location in Port Henry, NY.
Luci holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Elmira College, Elmira, NY.
Luci received her Usui Reiki Master Teacher Certification through the International
Center for Reiki Training in 2009. In 2011, Luci once again trained with William
Rand, and received her Karuna Reiki® Master Certification. She is a registered
Karuna Reiki® Master with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In May, 2011, Luci received Okuden (Level 2) training in the Jikiden Reiki tradition with
Frank Arjava Petter of the Jikiden Reiki Institute - Japan.
Luci also holds certification as a Reiki Crystal Practitioner -Level One through the
Infinite Light Healing Studies Center, Inc.
Luci brings years of teaching and human services experience to her Reiki Practice.
Her experience includes work with children, adolescents, special populations, and
adults in both educational and private sector settings.
In 2010, Luci completed a 250 hour certification course in Hatha Yoga from the Aura
Wellness Center, to become a Certified Yoga Teacher. Having experienced the
benefits of Reiki and Yoga first-hand, Luci reaches out to share the relaxation, health
benefits, and balancing energies of these two modalities of Body and Energy Work
with others. She combines her personal experiences, knowledge of meditation, the
chakras, counseling and energy work to provide a holistic approach to the LightWorks
Reiki and Yoga programs and services.
Luci is a fully insured Reiki and Yoga professional.
