Yoga Classes
LightWorks Reiki & Yoga offers Hatha Yoga classes for the Beginner to Intermediate
Yoga student. Hatha Yoga strengthens the body, mind and spirit through traditional
Yoga poses, deep breathing and meditation. With a fun balance of movement and
stillness we will open the body, calm the mind and cultivate inner peace. Hatha Yoga is
a practice of living in the moment and celebrating life from your heart. Each class is an
invitation to breathe, stretch, strengthen and relax. All classes include time practicing
Asana(Postures), Pranayama (Breathing Techniques), Meditation and Relaxation. Join
us in practicing the art of being present. We begin each class with a brief centering
meditation to bring you to your mat, breath-work to quiet your mind, warm ups to soften
your body, asana(postures) to strengthen your body-mind connection, relaxation to heal
and a short final meditation to integrate the practice. Our classes allow you to start where
you are, making yoga accessible for any body type or ability level. You are encouraged to
practice at your own pace and to be aware of and honor your limitations and your growth.
